We camped here for the long Easter weekend. Once again, had a great time!! Staff was very cordial, campground was clean. Looking forward to more visits.

Stayed here for the first time this April. Sites are shaded, spacious and had no problem leveling. Looking forward to a return trip when the water park is open.

Super nice owners are constantly working on expanding/upgrading this campground. Very quiet and relaxing place. We will return!!

This was the second time we have stayed this year. The first time was a check-it-out visit. The second time...we brought the boat with us. If you want a somewhere to fish and boat, this is the place. It is maybe a 15 minute trip in the boat to Point Lookout, so you have the river and the bay to choose from. The staff I ran across were very nice. Yes, you need to drive thru a field but the sites are back-ins towards trees, with shade in the evenings. There is a pond to fish right from the rear of the campsite. We plan on returning.

We made a last minute decision to try this campground with the motorhome and the boat. From the previous reviews, we were a little concerned, but decided to try it for ourselves. We didn't have any problems at all. Our site was a level pull-thru. Very quiet, clean campground, although I can only imagine what it is like during the summer. The seasonal sites around us were kept up with. The staff were very nice, even letting us park the boat and truck in a vacant site. We will return.

We saw a billboard for this campground close to King's Dominion Theme Park in Virginia (about a 15 minute ride). Last weekend, we took the motorhome out to "check" things out for the season. We stopped there overnight, and were very happy with the campground. The new owners (since the fall of 2005) were great. They are in the finishing stages of building a new office/store/lounge. We are planning on staying there later in the year to check out the improvements.

Since our last visit a year ago, this campground has made a lot of progress. The grounds were cleaner, a lot of the "permanent" sites have been cleaned up. Cable TV has been installed (a lot of channels), the bathrooms were clean. I can really see a POSITIVE change happening here.

We stayed here Easter Weekend, 2005. Very clean and well kept campground. Great activities for the kids and adults. We have already booked another weekend this year, maybe more.
